I received some emails asking for the chocolate chocolate chip recipe I mentioned in
yesterday's post , so here it is!
Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt (I use kosher salt)
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add vanilla.
Adds eggs, one at a time.
Slowly add the flour mixture until the dough is well mixed.
Add the chocolate chunks and either mix at slow speed or hand fold in.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set on the outside and soft in the center.
Cool for five minutes on cookie sheets then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
OR
If you have made my pre-made mix, like this , then the steps are a little different!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add vanilla.
Adds eggs, one at a time.
Slowly add the pre-made mix, and stir until combined.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set on the outside and soft in the center.
Cool for five minutes on cookie sheets then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
These are SO good, and feel free to add chopped nuts if you so desire.
Enjoy!
