Jazz It Up - Ice Cream Sandwiches

I think we can all agree that ice cream sandwiches are scrumptious as they are, right?  BUT, this simple step puts them way over the top!

All you do is take the ice cream sandwiches out of the freezer, unwrap them and place on parchment paper.

Let them sit for one to two minutes.

While you wait for them to warm slightly, shake out some sprinkles/jimmies onto a flat surface.

Pick up the sandwich and dip the exposed ice cream into the sprinkles/jimmies - that's it!


You can eat them right away or wrap them in parchment and refreeze if you like them colder.

P.S. Where is everyone on the sprinkles vs. jimmies thing?  We called them jimmies growing up in DC and Maine, but not everyone has heard of that term.  Leave a comment and let me know what you call them!
