White Chocolate Chip Blondies

These Blondies are simply Nestle Toll House dough with white chocolate chips…I tried a lot of different Blondie recipes, but you just can't beat Toll House!

One quick note - this recipe uses a 15 x 10 jelly roll pan.  If you don't have this size, you might be able to get away with using two 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 pans.

Ingredients:

2 and 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) white chocolate chips

(I cut the butter like that to soften it in the microwave)

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees, and grease your pan with non-stick spray.

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.  Set it aside.

With a mixer (stand or handheld), beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy.

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one.

With your mixer on low, slowly add your flour mixture.  Try not to get it ALL over your kitchen like I did!

Fold in the white chips by hand - this takes a little arm power.

Spread the dough evenly in your 15 x 10 pan.

Bake for 20 to 23 minutes.  Keep an eye on it after the 20 minute point, because it browns up very quickly.

Let the pan cool completely, then cut and serve.

This is a really flexible recipe, because you can do this with any kind of chip - chocolate, white, peanut butter, toffee, you name it.  You can also add a cup of chopped nuts if you want!
